To celebrate the Great American Smokeout, come see us on Thursday, November 20th from 10:30am - 2:00pm in St. Landry Parish as we "Smoke Meat, Not To***co." We're working with wonderful LOCAL markets and restaurants to spread the word about quit resources, cancer prevention and screening information.

We need your help!
In the area of public health, one entity alone cannot take on the enormous task of influencing the entire population. Through the collaboration of Healthy St. Landry and its vision to build a healthy St. Landry for all, we can make a significant impact at improving the overall health of our community. One of those initiatives is to update the St. Landry Resource Directory which was first published in 2020. The full directory can be viewed at https://www.opelousasgeneral.com/oghs-foundation/the-healthy-st-landry-alliance/resource-directory/.
The updating process has started, and we need your help. If your organization offers community resources and is not listed in the directory, you can go directly to the website and add it or update if currently listed, email Cindy Torian at [email protected], or call 337-678-4266 for assistance.

It's almost time for our monthly Healthy St. Landry meeting, held the fourth Thursday of every month. For the past four years Healthy St. Landry has collaborated with our community partners to create a Healthier St Landry for All! Our current initiatives are to***co cessation and resources, mental health and promoting our Healthy St Landry Resource Directory. If you are interested in joining our Alliance, email [email protected] to send your contact information.
