As I go through this most recent major shift and traumatic experience Iâm able to really sit in it and note how my NS is reacting. Noticing how my emotional regular skills are working and where im truly at in my healing journey. Being aware of my reactions, my triggers, my responses, and my thoughts and emotions.
When we go through a traumatic experience the most important thing is to process it fully. Trauma literally means energy in the body that didnât run its course, caused by a event that we could not process fully at the time.
Ability to regulate is effected by trauma and other conditions like ADHD or Bi-polar.
But the more we practice moving the energy with a physical and emotional practice the faster we can process the trauma, cope, and overcome it.
Letâs check in and process together;
>emotional/energetic body: what emotions are you feeling, are you tired or numb, feeling intense emotions, uneasy, or peaceful?
>physical body: are you tense in any area, how is your heart rate, your breath, your shoulders. Are you hungry, what sensations do you feel in the body?
>spiritual body: do you feel connected, supported guided, or lost, confused, alone? Do you feel a need to control or are you surrendered? Whatâs your theory for life itself and the things that happen?
