I’ve been hearing from moms that their students are already anxious at the start of school.

Are you seeing this with your teen?

Annie shared a stress relieving trick I had never tried before 🤯. So good!

Share with your teen so they can learn this technique and navigate this school or college year with greater calm, focus and ease. 🫶

Drop-off is done.
A few challenges come up:

Loud roommates
Class schedules or syllabus overwhelm
Or just figuring out how to run a load of laundry 😂

Most are temporary. And totally normal!

But there’s other signs that can indicate your student isn’t transitioning so well.

Only making one (or no) friend
Dropping normal self-care habits
Isolating or avoiding social opportunities

None of these alone always mean something’s wrong. But they’re a signal to pay attention to.

They’re usually a way of saying “I need more support.”

If you’re spidey senses are tingling then join me for my mom masterclass where I’ll explain what to expect first semester and how to suppport from home.

Comment READY and I’ll send the details.

Do you know what to expect the first few months of freshman year?

Or what to do if you’re worried your student might not be fully ready themselves?

Truth is, not every student has a perfect, seamless first semester.

In fact most don’t.

So don’t feel bad when other moms tell you how wonderful everything is for their student.

Because you’re not alone. And, you’re the kind of mom who stays alert and takes action when it’s needed most.

Join me and other moms, where I’ll walk you through the common freshman year phases and when to know what’s just normal adjustments, and what’s not.

When to step back, and when to step in.

Comment READY and I’ll share the details.

Drop-off just happened and you’re already hearing concerns?

It’s not what they expected.
It seems like everyone else has friends -already
They’re uncomfortable with their roommate.
They’re feeling pressure.

If you’re hearing these or similar concerns, it’s important to pay close attention.

For some it’ll pass.

But for others (nearly 30%) it’s the beginning of more to come.

It’s the beginning of a struggle they don’t feel equipped to manage on their own.

But they’re not completely sure what ‘it’ is.

They’re afraid to admit they’re struggling.

Or they don’t know how to do it differently.

This is where you can help — yes even from a long distance away (or 30 min from home).

Join me for my masterclass for moms where I’ll share what you can expect these first few weeks (and beyond).

And why equipping your student with essential campus life skills can make a significant difference —

between struggling, stressing and wanting to go home

vs

Thriving, making confident choices, and loving their new home-away-from home.

It’s not too late (it’s actually the perfect time).

Drop off can be so hard.

The hugs, the tears. The quiet house you’ll be returning to.

But a quiet, uneasy feeling that she might not do okay? That can feel worse.

It’s that gut feeling she might not be ready.

It’s that hope she’ll figure it out now that she truly is on her own, without you down the hall.

— but a nagging uneasiness that she won’t.

You saw it in high school.

You supported her through it all.

And now you hope everything will be different in college.

But you just don’t know for sure.

Join me for my masterclass where I’ll share what to expect, signs to look for and the real skills she needs to thrive in campus life — not just survive.

Comment READY and I’ll send the details.
