There’s something profoundly humbling about remembering that women navigate a world that was not built for us.
Women have been expected to shrink themselves to fit into roles that denied their full humanity.
As I watched this video, I couldn’t help but think of my grandmother—the woman I’m proudly named after. 🇬🇷✨
She survived the hardships of a small Greek village, lived through war, endured the Great Famine in Greece, was orphaned at 4 years old and carried herself with unwavering faith in the Theotokos, the Blessed Virgin Mary. Through every challenge, she would repeat:
«Κάθε εμπόδιο για καλό.»
“Every obstacle is for good.” 🤍
Those words became more than a saying. They became her way of life. The way she survived.
On both sides of my lineage, my ancestors endured unimaginable hardship so that future generations could have choices that they never even imagined. Opportunities that I pray they can experience with me from Heaven.
I carry deep gratitude for their resilience, their sacrifice, and their quiet strength that still echoes through my bones.
I truly don’t know how they did it.
But I believe it has something to do with faith in a Power greater than themselves.
And I believe we are being invited into something even greater now.
Not a world where one energy dominates another—but one where the masculine and feminine exist in sacred partnership. ☯️
Sacred reciprocity.
Like Yin and Yang.
Like our inhale and the exhale.
Like the balance woven into nature itself.
Harmony is not weakness.
Equality doesn’t compete.
We all have a sacred purpose.
I believe this is how God intended creation to flourish: through mutual respect, collaboration, and love.
May we honor those who came before us by creating a world where no one has to diminish themselves to belong. 🙏✨
Peace, love, and good vibes, my friend 🤗
