What a week with this group! 🤍

There is something so special about spending five days together—learning, practicing, asking questions, sharing stories, laughing (a lot!), and watching everything begin to click. I truly enjoyed getting to know each of these students and watching them grow throughout the week.

Congratulations to our newest graduates of NEBWA’s 5-Day Manual Lymphatic Drainage Training! 🎓

This training is so much more than learning an MLD sequence. Our students build their understanding of the lymphatic system, develop their hands-on skills, learn how to think through and adapt their work, and then bring it all together with full sessions, SOAP notes, and our supervised student clinic.

By the end of the week, they’ve gone from learning the foundations to putting all of those pieces together—and getting to watch that happen is one of my favorite parts of teaching.

To this crew, thank you for such a fun week and for bringing so much of yourselves into the classroom. I’m excited to see where you take what you’ve learned from here.

There’s something special about watching students take what they’re learning, put their hands to work, ask questions, build confidence, and begin connecting all the pieces of the lymphatic system together.

I get asked this more often than you might think:

“Do you offer life coach training?”

The answer is yes. Just not through NEBWA.

Many of you know me through New England Bodywork & Wellness Academy, where I’ve spent years teaching bodywork, wellness and healing arts professionals.

But what you may not know is that I also founded Aspire Coaching Academy, our sister school dedicated specifically to professional coach education.

And there’s a reason I’ve kept the two separate.

I don’t believe coaching should simply be squeezed into another wellness certification as an extra skill.

Prenatal Massage: Level 1

This weekend, we completed another Prenatal Massage Therapy: Foundations training at New England Bodywork & Wellness Academy.

Together, we learned about the pregnant body, trimester changes, positioning, modifications, safety, clinical thinking, and how to approach prenatal massage with confidence instead of fear.

Because mothers deserve practitioners who understand the changing body they’re living in.

And therapists deserve education that helps them feel informed, grounded, and prepared.
