Embracing Pain 🙏💚
Spanish 👇
We believe that healing is when physical pain disappears; when we recall an event or experience without triggering painful wounds.
Healing goes far beyond feeling pain.
The body manifests what needs attention. Healing is learning to listen and care for yourself, recognizing what you are feeling without judgment and lovingly embracing your emotions; understanding that you don't always have to be okay, that you inhabit a body that requires adjustments and is sometimes vulnerable. Healing is being gentle and loving toward yourself as you navigate what you don't yet know how to transform.
Pain, in all its forms, presents itself as a compass pointing to a place that needs to be looked at with compassion, something ignored for too long that emits a cry demanding a radical change in your choices, the way you relate to others, and how you experience life.
Don't be afraid to look at what hurts, listen to it, ask it what the lesson is, give it a new direction, make different choices, and create change. Connect with your own inner wisdom and allow that understanding to gift you a more conscious and loving way of caring for yourself.
Sometimes we are not responsible for all our wounds and pain, but each of us is responsible and has the capacity to heal them. Honor your path with all its challenges and difficulties because they have made you more resilient. Thank illness for drawing your attention and making your body a priority. Honor your emotions, which teach you to seek your inner peace. We cannot change what we have experienced, but you can wisely choose each learning.
Healing involves discomfort and pain; healing also means not losing yourself during the process and learning to lovingly return to yourself. Healing manifests every time you choose peace, every time you set boundaries, every time you don't accept what hurts you, when you open your heart to receive help, when you can let go of guilt, when you regain faith, when sincere forgiveness is a balm for your soul, when you witness your life story and can see that pain does not define who you truly are.
