When most people think about hormone replacement therapy (HRT), they think about hot flashes, night sweats, or improving energy and libido.
But some of the most important benefits often go unnoticed.
Recently, I spoke with a patient who has been on HRT for many years. After experiencing a significant fall, she shared her belief that maintaining her bone health through hormone therapy may have helped her avoid a fracture. She also discussed how HRT has helped support her bladder health and quality of life over the years.
These are the conversations we don’t have often enough.
Hormones impact far more than symptoms of menopause. They play an important role in supporting bone density, urinary health, vaginal tissue health, and overall well-being as we age.
Every woman’s journey is unique, and HRT is not right for everyone. But understanding the full picture of hormone health allows women to make informed decisions about their bodies and their future.
Sometimes the greatest benefits of treatment aren’t what you feel today—it’s what you’re protecting for tomorrow.

This article puts into words something I see every single day.

Women are finally talking about the pelvic floor - on TikTok, in pilates classes, in the delivery room - and what's coming out of those conversations is that an entire generation of women was never given this information.

Because of this, women were left guessing, Googling, and assuming the discomfort they were feeling was normal.

A lot of it isn't. Painful s*x, postpartum tissue changes, intimacy that doesn't feel the same - these aren't things you just learn to live with. They're things worth understanding and addressing.

The conversation is overdue. But it's finally happening.
If any of this sounds familiar, give this article a read:

How a once-shrouded health issue became Topic A on social media, at bachelorette parties, and in the delivery room.

For many women, recurrent Bartholin cysts affect far more than physical comfort.
They affect confidence.
They affect dating.
They affect intimacy.
They affect quality of life.
After treating more than 600 Bartholin cyst cases, one thing has become clear: women are often suffering in silence because they don’t know where to turn for help.
While no treatment is perfect, our goal is to provide women with an option that is minimally invasive, effective, and focused on getting them back to living their lives.
If you’ve been told to simply live with it, repeatedly drain it, or wait for it to come back, know that there may be other options available.
You deserve answers.
You deserve comfort.
You deserve confidence.

35% of women are still experiencing intimacy issues a year after childbirth.
And yet the conversation still gets squeezed into a single appointment and a six-week number that the data doesn't even support.
The reality is more complex - and more common - than most people realize.

Dr. Ghozland is breaking all of it down.

📌 Save this and follow along for more discussions around the postpartum period.

Most people have heard of “Ozempic face”… but very few are talking about the changes rapid weight loss, aging, childbirth, and hormonal shifts can have on intimate tissue as well.
As volume is lost in the l***a majora, many women notice:
— a deflated or flattened appearance
— loose or crepey skin
— increased visibility of the inner l***a
— irritation during exercise or intimacy
— loss of confidence in fitted clothing or swimwear
One option that may help restore both comfort and confidence is l***a puffing using hyaluronic acid fillers combined with PRP (platelet-rich plasma).
The goal is not to create an artificial appearance — but rather to help restore softer, healthier-looking tissue and improve hydration, support, and volume in a very natural way.
By combining volume restoration with regenerative support from PRP, many women report:
✨ improved fullness
✨ smoother tissue appearance
✨ reduced friction and irritation
✨ improved comfort in leggings, bathing suits, and intimacy
✨ increased confidence and body connection
This conversation is not about vanity.
It’s about intimate wellness, comfort, confidence, and helping women feel more connected to their bodies through every stage of life.

For decades, women’s health has been underfunded, understudied, and often misunderstood.
Now researchers are developing human-based technologies that may completely change how we study:
• vaginal health
• hormones
• painful intimacy
• recurrent infections
• microbiome imbalance
• menopause
• recovery medicine
This is the future of personalized women’s healthcare.
And honestly… it’s long overdue.

So many women suffer silently because they’re embarrassed to ask questions about their intimate health.
Questions about pain, dryness, bladder leakage, postpartum changes, hormone shifts, or changes in confidence are far more common than most women realize. Yet many are told to “just live with it” or believe they’re alone in what they’re experiencing.
The truth is:
Common does not always mean normal.
Women deserve real education, honest conversations, compassionate care, and access to solutions that can improve both quality of life and confidence.
If you’ve ever searched one of these questions late at night wondering if something was wrong with you… you are not alone. ❤️

Perimenopause isn't just hot flashes.

It's disrupted sleep that leaves you exhausted.
Anxiety that shows up out of nowhere.
Dryness and discomfort that makes intimacy feel impossible.
Sensitivity that's changed in ways nobody warned you about.

All of this is connected - hormones affect your nervous system, your tissue health, your libido, and your sense of self.

The good news? This is exactly what we treat.
