Submit your education research to the Western Journal of Emergency Medicine (WestJEM) 2027 CDEM CORD Special Issue on Educational Research and Practice. Papers are accepted on a rolling basis. All accepted papers for this issue will be published online within two weeks of receiving the final version and then collated into the January 2027 Special Issue. The Editors of WestJEM are seeking Section Editors to provide subspecialty content expertise and advise Decision Editors regarding acceptance of submitted papers for the following sections:
• Clinical Practice
• ED Administration
• Emergency Medical Services
• Geriatrics
• Injury Prevention
• Musculoskeletal
• Neuroscience
• Technology in Medicine

Section Editors receive 1-3 manuscripts per month and are responsible for synthesizing the important points from two peer reviews into a draft message for the authors. The Section Editors are acknowledged by name for published papers. At times, Section Editors serve as primary reviewers on submitted manuscripts as well. Section Editors should be at least moderately published in the medical literature.
