From getting our hands dirty to ending the night under the fireworks! 🎇

Everyone put on their serious game faces, rolled up their sleeves, and wasn't afraid to get their hands dirty during the day's challenges. After leaving it all on the field, we had a beautiful dinner to formally recognize the support staff who truly went above and beyond this year. These are the heroes working tirelessly behind the scenes every single day for our clients and VAs, and I’m so glad we had this perfect opportunity to unplug.

We ended the night with an epic fire show and fireworks display! Nothing beats this team when it comes to working hard and playing even harder! 💙

I’ve seen teams struggle not because people weren’t capable, but because something just felt off.

The role wasn’t clear. Expectations didn’t quite line up. Or the work didn’t fit how they naturally operate. And when that happens, performance starts to slip.

From the outside, it’s easy to call it a people problem. But when we take a step back and really look at it, that’s not always the full picture.

Then we made a few changes to the setup… and everything changed.

Same people.
Better, stronger results.

That’s when it really clicked for me:

It’s not just about having the right people, it’s about putting them in the right seats.

Because even great people will struggle if they’re not in the position to succeed. And sometimes, what looks like failure is actually an opportunity to step back, reassess, and realign.

Getting notified about this was a pretty amazing way to start the week!

I helped build My Mountain Mover in my early 20s with a big vision and A LOT to learn. Since then, I’ve had the chance to build an incredible team and create something that impacts people both here in the US and across the Philippines.

To have that work recognized by Orange County Business Journal , alongside so many incredible women making an impact of their own, means a lot to me. I couldn’t be more honored to be nominated for the 32nd Annual Women in Business Awards!

True leadership is about creating an environment where others can succeed.

Taking our Directors, Managers, and Team Leads completely out of the daily grind to focus on operations, team dynamics, and problem-solving isn't just an investment in them, it’s an investment in the thousands of people they impact every day.

Our latest Leaders Retreat was a powerful reminder of this truth. When we deeply equip and empower our leaders, they in turn empower our VAs to do their absolute best work. I am so proud to watch this team step into their potential to better serve our clients.

Stepping away from your business is the ultimate leadership litmus test for freedom.

If you step away for two weeks and your company can't run without you, that is not a strong company.

It is so easy to stay buried in the day-to-day grind. But if you want real growth, you have to design thoughtful systems and have the right people in the right seats to actually be able to leave.

Taking a true break forces your organization to operate independently. It is the best way to evaluate what works and what processes caused flare-ups while you were gone. It gives you incredible clarity so you know exactly what to dial in on when you get back.

Very rarely do you have your best ideas when you are in your everyday routine. Big thinking requires external factors and new scenery. Whenever I am facing a big decision about the company's direction, I like to get away, turn down the noise, get a big notepad, and just start wrestling through the ideas.

Next week, I’m joining The Stevie Awards to talk about overcoming fear and self-doubt as a CEO.

Starting a company in your 20s will humble you real fast. To push past my own doubt, I had to make very intentional choices about how I lead, starting with checking my ego at the door.

Instead of trying to have all the answers, I work with people I trust and let them run with their unique ideas. I also let my team see me in the good, the bad, and the ugly. Vulnerability is something I want them to see from me so they can model it for their team members. When things go wrong, I get into the weeds and tackle it right alongside them.
