There is something new growing within Serenity Healing Studio, and it comes from a very personal place in my heart.
I know what it is like to experience domestic abuse. Three of my four past relationships involved abuse. Physical, Emotional and Narcissistic behavior was endured and I didn't have my voice until recently. My own journey through those experiences has shaped not only the woman I am today, but also the kind of healing work I feel called to offer.
For years, I have used my hands to help women reconnect with their bodies through therapeutic massage and bodywork. Now, I feel called to use something else as well—my voice.
I want to be a voice of encouragement for women who have survived domestic abuse, as well as women who may still be finding their way out.
My vision is to bring together trauma-informed bodywork, compassionate support, healing education, coaching, reflection, and practical tools that can help women begin reconnecting with themselves—their bodies, their strength, their worth, and their hope.
This is also the beginning of a much bigger dream. I am working toward creating a nonprofit organization that will allow me to partner with women’s organizations and community groups and make this work accessible to women who need support.
I don’t have every piece of the journey figured out yet. But I know why I am beginning.
I have lived through things I once wondered if I would ever get through. Today, I want to use what I have learned, along with the healing work I have spent years developing, to reach back and help another woman know that her story does not have to end where the abuse happened.
This is the next chapter of Serenity Healing Studio.
Healing through touch.
Healing through education.
Healing through encouragement.
Healing through finding your voice again.
And this is only the beginning. 🤍💜🤍
