☕️ Coffee, Connection & Community! 🤎
A big thank you to everyone who joined us yesterday for our Doula Coffee Connection! We truly enjoyed getting to know each of you, hearing about what’s working, what isn’t, and talking about ways we can better connect, collaborate, and support one another.
One of our biggest takeaways was hearing firsthand about the challenges providers are facing as the perinatal industry continues to evolve and insurance becomes a bigger part of doing business. Navigating coverage, billing requirements, reimbursement and an ever-changing system can be overwhelming — especially while trying to stay focused on what matters most, caring for families.
It was also a great reminder that these challenges aren’t limited to doulas. As more perinatal services become covered by insurance, more providers are learning how to navigate this new landscape right alongside one another.
These are exactly the conversations we want to keep having — what’s working, what isn’t, and how we can help make the insurance side of providing care a little easier.
And we’re not done! We’re already planning to come back at the end of September for a two-part Doula Connection, offering different time frames so more people have the opportunity to attend and be part of the conversation.
