A couple of weeks ago, we reminded everyone to grab some insect repellent before heading outside...

Apparently, I forgot to take my own advice. 😂🦟

The bugs definitely got the best of me.

The good news? We also carry an itch relief cream that actually works, so at least I had a backup plan. 😉

If you're spending time outdoors, stop by Roots and stock up on both. Trust me... you'll want the repellent first, but you'll be glad to have the itch relief just in case!

Ready to start your morning with a little movement, fresh air, coffee and accountability?

We’re kicking off 6 weeks of Roots on the Move with 12 sessions of walking or rucking!

📅 Mondays & Wednesdays
📍 Start & end at Roots
⏰ 5:30 AM
🚶 About 45 minutes
💲 $20 for all 12 sessions
☕ After we finish, you can stay for coffee or grab one to go

We’ll start Wednesday, September 9 since Labor Day falls on Monday, September 7.

You can ruck or walk. The goal is to get moving, have some accountability, and encourage each other along the way!

If you’re still interested, join the Band group attached so we can get everyone connected and ready to go!

We’ve been tossing around an idea at Roots and want to see if there’s any interest!

What if we started a walking/rucking group in Ord?

Rucking is basically walking with a weighted backpack, but you don’t have to ruck to participate. You can walk, add some weight, or do whatever works for you!

We’re thinking about a 6 or 8 week group that meets 2 days a week, starting and ending at Roots....with some to-go coffee after!

Would you be interested in joining us?
