This was my office last Friday and today. I am so grateful to SH PTO Club (Parent Teacher Organization) and South Holt R1 for inviting me back for Teacher Appreciation Week for the 12th year in a row! (With the exception of the year of the COVID shut-down)

This year presented an extra challenge when the school reached out, as my work calendar was completely booked, (over booked actually) and I had very recently suffered a shoulder sprain. I told my husband I needed to “think on it…” (I was hurting, tired, and quite literally overwhelmed KNOWING how crazy my May calendar looked.) 15 minutes later I responded back! I couldn’t say “no”; I look forward to this opportunity just as much as the teachers and support staff do!

I want to express a HUGE thank you to the South Holt PTO Club and South Holt staff for continuing to invite me to help celebrate all the teachers and staff that play a vital role in the education of our youth! I absolutely LOVE the experience of helping to brighten your day!

Lastly, a big congratulations to the 2 winners of the baskets I donated as an extra thank you! April Allen, and Shelby Wallace, I hope you two enjoy your goodies and thank you for your hard work in ensuring a safe and educational experience for the MANY young people that walk the halls at South Holt R1! 🙌🏻👏🏻❤️🙏🏻

This month is so busy. Last month was crazy busy. I feel like this is my new tagline! Ha ha!

Anyway, super stoked to be at South Holt today for teacher appreciation week!

Tranquil Healing felt generous this year and donated 2 baskets for the school to raffle off for TWO lucky faculty members. Valued at over $100 each and full of goodies! I can’t wait to hear who the lucky winners are! Each basket is filled with snacks, products for your room or home, products for pain relief, tea and a mug to enjoy your tea from, a Gift Certificate to Tranquil Healing, and more!After this this week and next, Lacy Waggoner, LMT will have logged over 50 hands on hours of healing touch to our School staff as well as the community. (Just physical hands on hours…this doesn’t include office work, and regular every day business hours…we’d have to say closer to 100 hours for that.)

It’s an honor to serve everyone and it’s a blessing to have the ability. After next Friday, I will need a VERY long nap! Ha ha!
