๐ŸŒŸ Therapist Spotlight: Meet Chase! ๐ŸŒŸ

Weโ€™re excited to highlight one of the incredible counseling interns on our Innsaei team โœจ

๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿ‘ง With years of experience supporting kids and teensโ€”as an RBT, youth mentor, and even a P.E. teacherโ€”Chase brings a ton of heart and energy into his sessions.

He provides therapy in both English AND Spanish ๐Ÿ’ฌโ€”something our community deeply values.

๐ŸŒŽ Fun fact: Chase lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for two years where he learned Castellanoโ€”thatโ€™s Argentinian Spanish ๐Ÿ‡ฆ๐Ÿ‡ทโœจ

โœจ Outside the office, youโ€™ll probably find him hiking a mountain, running, playing sports, or lost in a good book.

His mission? To create healthy, joyful connections that inspire healing and a more satisfying life. ๐Ÿ’™

๐Ÿ™Œ Drop a comment to show Chase some love!

๐Ÿ’ž Bonding & Attachment is where it all begins.

Connection doesn't require perfection โ€” it just needs presence. This week, we're diving into how simple moments of attention and warmth can shape lifelong emotional security.

Try this today: Sit beside your child and just be โ€” no agenda, no distractions. That's where the magic starts. โœจ

๐ŸŽ‰ Want to go deeper? Join Playful Connections โ€” our parenting workshop packed with creative tools to reduce power struggles, boost cooperation, and bring the joy (and laughter) back to your family.

๐Ÿ‘‡ Comment "Bonding" to learn more + get access to our weekly email series with practical tips and playful reminders that parenting doesn't have to feel so hard.

๐Ÿ’— Which slide hit home for you? Drop a heart or share your favorite bonding moment in the comments!

๐ŸŒŸBefore kids (and adults) feel safe enough to open upโ€ฆ they need to feel safe just being with us.

This week, we're kicking off our 3-part Power of Play series with a focus on bonding & attachment โ€” because connection doesn't start with deep talksโ€ฆ it often starts with a hand puppet. ๐Ÿงค๐Ÿƒ

You know the moment โ€” someone's zoned out, scrolling, shut downโ€ฆ

Then someone else leans in and says (with a goofy puppet voice):
"Heyโ€ฆ wanna play cards?"

๐Ÿ’› That's how it begins.
Not with pressure.
Not with perfection.
But with presence.

Because play says: "You're safe. You matter. I'm with you."

๐Ÿ‘‡ Want to bring more of that kind of connection into your life?
๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Join us for the Playful Connections Workshop on May 31st. 10am to 12pm โ€” a hands-on, therapist-led event in Orem to help you reconnect through joy, presence, and play.

๐ŸŒŸ Pillar 5: Trust in Your Child's Inner Wisdom ๐ŸŒŸ

The final pillar in our Conscious Parenting series is one of the most powerfulโ€”and one of the hardest.

Instead of solving, directing, or controllingโ€ฆ
We pause.
We witness.
We trust that our child already holds their own answers. ๐ŸŒ€

โœจ This post invites you to:
๐Ÿง  Resist the urge to fix
๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Empower their voice
๐Ÿ’ช Recognize resilience
๐Ÿ’ฌ And try simple, powerful parent practices like:
โ€” A trust-building affirmation
โ€” A "Letting Go" ritual
โ€” A self-inquiry question that shifts perspective

๐Ÿ’ก What if our job isn't to shape the pathโ€”but to honor the one they're already walking?
This is the heart of sacred parenting. ๐Ÿ’–

๐Ÿ‘‡ Drop a ๐Ÿ’ฌ if this series helped you reframe your parenting approach.
๐Ÿ“Œ Save for your next "I want to jump in and fix it" moment.
๐Ÿ”„ Share with another conscious parent in your life!

04/28/2025

When our child struggles, it's so tempting to jump in and fix it โ€” to smooth the way, solve the problem, ease their frustration.

But sometimes the most loving thing we can do is simply stay beside them. ๐ŸŒฟ

Not rushing.
Not rescuing.
Just being steady, patient, and believing they'll find their own way.

๐Ÿงฑ This is Pillar 5: Trust in Your Child's Inner Wisdom.
It's not about stepping back and abandoning them.
It's about holding the space, gently and bravely, while they grow their own strength.

You don't have to carry them.
You don't have to fix it.
You just have to stay. ๐Ÿ’›

๐ŸŽฅ Watch the reel above โ€” and if this spoke to you today, let us know in the comments.

โœจ You don't need all the answers.

You just need to believe your child already holds theirs. ๐ŸŒฑ
This week, try pausing before offering advice.

Instead of: "Let me tell you what to doโ€ฆ"

Try:
๐Ÿ’ฌ "What do you feel would help right now?"
These small moments build big trustโ€”
๐Ÿง  Trust in you.
๐Ÿ’› Trust in themselves.

Sometimes, the most powerful thing we can offer our childrenโ€ฆ is our presence. ๐Ÿ’›

Not advice. Not correction.

Just deep, attuned listening โ€” the kind that helps them feel truly safe and seen.

In our latest reel, we explore a simple practice: 3 minutes of reflective listening โ€” a tool that can shift connection in powerful ways.

Pillar 3: Non-Judgment & Open Reflection ๐Ÿ’ฌโœจ

When our kids open up, they're not always asking for a fix โ€” sometimes they just need us to stay, listen, and hold space. ๐Ÿซถ

But let's be honest โ€” staying curious instead of correcting takes practice. That's why this week's tools are all about creating emotional room for your child to feel without fear of judgment.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Try these parent-friendly tools:
๐Ÿ”„ Reframe judgment โ†’ "What might be underneath this behavior?"
๐ŸŽญ Role-play tough convos before they happen
โ“ Practice open-ended questions like,
๐Ÿ‘‰ "What is this feeling telling you?"
๐Ÿ’› When kids feel safe being fully seen, they stop hiding parts of themselves.

๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ Which one will you try first this week?
