🤔 Not all pain is created equal — do you know the difference? Kate's here to help. 💬 Knowing the difference can be the line between pushing through a normal training adaptation — and pushing through an injury that needs care.
"Good" pain (often felt during exercise):
✅ Muscle fatigue or burn during a workout
✅ Mild soreness that shows up 24–48 hours later (DOMS)
✅ Discomfort that fades as you warm up or improves session to session
"Bad" pain (a sign something needs attention):
🚩 Sharp, sudden, or stabbing pain
🚩 Pain that gets worse with activity instead of easing
🚩 Swelling, numbness, or tingling
🚩 Pain that lingers well beyond a few days
