Hey Portland and the entire PNW — you’re up next!

If you had FOMO from last weekend’s Bariatric Field Day, FOMO no more!

Bariatric Society, Weight Loss Surgery Support , Busy Bariatrics | Bariatric coaching |Mentorship , and more are headed your way for a Bariatric Meetup on July 18th and we couldn’t be more thrilled!

At all of our Bariatric Society events, we focus on 3 things: FUN, Resources, and Connection!

The Resources:
We will begin our day on a walking hike outside of Pittock Mansion with multiple stops along the way that include mini “resource sessions” from expert surgeons, coaches, and more!

These breaks not only for great information and education, but also ensures the hike is accessible and enjoyable for all fitness levels. The Busy Bariatrics | Bariatric coaching |Mentorship team will also ensure you have a great stretch to begin and have the best tips for a great hike!

The Connection:
Throughout this time, you will have an opportunity to meet other Bariatric, GLP-1, and natural weight loss patients on th same journey as you. In addition, you will have an opportunity to further connect with our special guests and experts.

The FUN:
We will then end our day with an optional visit to the Fuji to Hood Beer Fest, an annual staple in Portland every July! The festival partners 25 breweries and cidermakers from Oregon with 25 from Japan to create original beverages each using atleast one special ingredient from their country (i.e. seaweed, koji, purple potatoes, sansho pepper, kuromoji wood, matcha, and more.) The festival also features Japanese performers from DJ’s to traditional dance, Taiko drummers, and Kendo martial arts. A wide range of Japanese food and drinks are featured from sushi and ramen to imported snacks, desserts, baked goods, rolls, ice cream, tea, coffee, and sake and spirits.

The main event may have been on Saturday…

But there are a lot of memories being made and work being dine behind the scenes days before the main event comes to life!

We are blessed to have a crew and friends that jump right on in to the mission (but not before we get a workout or two in)!

Most of the crew flew in Wednesday and shout out to EōS Fitness in West Covina for welcoming us for a workout.

We would love to see you ALL at an upcoming event — we can tell you Bariatric Field Day in Huntington Beach 🏖️ was EVERYTHING!

Over the weekend, we were laser focused on the fitness portion of our Bariatric journey.

On Friday, several of our Bariatric Field Day attendees did an optional hike up the infamous Runyon Canyon in Los Angeles.

It was tough, a steep incline all the way but so worth it for the views and the memories!
