Our closing party FAQ:

Saturday, 6/20, from 5pm to when the last people leave. Gen Xers tend to tire out by midnight.

All AEO friends, supporters, clients, etc., are welcome to attend. Though this is open to the public, this is a private event.

We will have the basics: water, cola, diet cola, some chips, and cheap beer. With that being said….

Think of this as a potluck.

If there is something you’d like to share: food, drink, adult beverages, we invite you to do so. Some ideas would be: crudite plate, fruit plate, charcuterie (aka cold cuts) plate, cookies, brownies, pizza, chips and dip. Stuff that won’t go bad and won’t need anything more than ice or possibly a microwave. We would normally provide all this, but we just got hit with some unexpected bills that Alan’s Medicaid won’t cover.

Yes, we will also be selling too, so you’re welcome to buy what strikes your fancy at that time.

Update on hours:

Friday 5/29: 12-4pm
Saturday 5/30: 2-7pm (that way all of those heading home from can stop by!)

Also next Saturday 6/6, Alan will need some help with the storage unit to bring stuff in the shop. DM us if available.

Yes we sold a lot. But we still have more. Then there’s the decor and A/V stuff (give us a week or so to open that up).

Cannon Beach OR is a tourist trap, but rightfully so. It has beautiful views, regardless of the season. My dear friend Tom has some beautiful pics of me in my mid 20s when we were visiting here.

Sat 5/30 is TBA because my wonderful employer f*%ed up my schedule. A separate announcement will follow if we will open that day.

If you haven’t participated in our Facebook poll regarding the date of our closing party, we invite you to do so! Please let us know ASAP so we can start figuring out logistics. Saturday nights are better since the complex is mostly empty. And with the 27th coming up against the Traditional Pride Weekend (everywhere else but the South) AND the Fourth of July, we just want to include as many people as possible.

Polls close on 5pm 5/25 (Memorial Day).

Here’s a clarification of how liquidation will work for us:

Liquidation Sale
From 5/23 OR until we sell everything that can be sold off.

ALL SALES FINAL. NO EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS. PERIOD.

Card only. Processed via Square Payments.

IN STORE ONLY. NO ONLINE SALES EXCEPT WHEN WE POST SURPLUS OGRE-LINE PRODUCTS for sale.

Most makeup products, tools (ie brushes) and: 50% off. Some items may carry steeper discounts.

Excludes: 99% Alcohol, SuperSolv, Premiere Alcohol Palettes, and ProsAide (which we still sell for lower than most retailers).

Props and masks in the shop: 40% off

Prosthetics: 50% off both latex and foam latex pieces. Subject to stock on hand.

Special requests, per our Social Media Posts on 5/19: If I make it specifically for you, no discount.

Anything in the back of the shop (includes unfinished pieces and items in progress): Per special arrangement with Alan. He has pieces and equipment already reserved for people.

Surplus Ogre-Line products: will be sold on a different platform. We do not have cowls.

I repeat: Limited to stock on hand. Unless it is by special request.

Speaking of which, as I use up existing product, when those items become available, we can discuss pricing.

As space in the shop allows, we will continue to add items like fabrication materials (like yarn, fabric and scrap wood), AV equipment, décor, etc. to the mix. And yes, the fixtures and furniture must eventually go too.

There are certain pieces we will not sell. Please understand this for either personal or professional reasons. It’s a boundary.

PS These guidelines are subject to change without notice.

Finally, be kind to Drew. He has been in survival mode since this whole thing began. Don’t break him, we still need him to finish the mission.
