In every disaster movie, there's always that moment when someone says:

*"Something isn't right..."*

πŸŒ‹ The ground starts shaking.
πŸŒ‹ The water gets hotter.
πŸŒ‹ Strange things start happening.

But everyone keeps going about their day.

Sometimes pelvic floor symptoms are like that.

A little leaking when you sneeze.
Pressure that comes and goes.
Pain with intimacy.
Persistent low back, hip, or pelvic pain.
A feeling that something just isn't quite right.

You don't have to wait until things feel like a full-blown disaster to get help.

The earlier we address the warning signs, the easier it is to restore strength, function, and confidence.

No volcano evacuation required. πŸ˜‰

Birth prep isn’t just about stretching.

It’s about preparing your body to:
β€’ Manage pressure effectively
β€’ Coordinate breathing and pushing
β€’ Improve pelvic mobility
β€’ Reduce excessive tension
β€’ Build confidence going into birth and recovery

Pelvic floor PT can help you feel more informed and prepared during pregnancy β€” whether this is your first baby or your fourth.

For a long time, this space has lived mostly in my head.

Late-night furniture decisions.
Paint samples.
Measuring walls over and over.
Wondering if everything would come together the way I imagined.

Now, seeing it take shape feels a little surreal.

This office isn't about growing bigger. It's about creating another way to serve women with the same personalized, one-on-one care that Connect PT was built on.

A space where you can feel comfortable asking questions.
A space where you can feel heard.
A space where healing doesn't feel rushed.

We're getting closer. πŸ’š

Every detail was chosen with intention. πŸ’š

When I started designing the Connect PT office, I didn't begin with furniture.

I started with a question:

**"How do I want women to feel when they walk through the door?"**

Calm.

Safe.

Supported.

Not like they're entering a busy medical office.

Not like they're being rushed through another appointment.

Just a space where they can finally focus on themselves.

From the soft colors and natural textures to the warm lighting, artwork, and private treatment space, every decision was made to create an environment that feels restorative and welcoming.

Because healing isn't just about exercises and treatment techniques.

It's also about feeling comfortable, heard, and cared for.

If you remember shopping from the Delia's catalog...

There's a decent chance you're overdue for a pelvic floor physical therapy appointment. πŸ˜…

We're at the age where:
✨ We don't jump on trampolines "just because"
✨ We make a sound every time we stand up
✨ We know exactly where our heating pad is
✨ And maybe we've accepted things like leaking, pelvic pain, pressure, or painful intimacy as "normal"

They're not.

Whether you've had babies or not, pelvic floor physical therapy can help you move, exercise, laugh, sneeze, and live more comfortably.

Your low-rise jeans may be gone, but your pelvic floor still deserves some attention. πŸ˜‰

Now excuse me while I go circle everything I wanted but never got from the Delia's catalog.

One of the questions I've been getting most:

"Should I book an in-home visit or come to the office?"

The truth is there's no wrong answer.

Both options include:
βœ” One-on-one care
βœ” Hands-on treatment
βœ” Exercise progression
βœ” Personalized support

The best option is the one that fits your life right now.

That's why I'm excited to offer both.

Me running away from pelvic health myths like they're Godzilla. πŸ¦–πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

❌ "When it gets bad enough, you can have surgery."
❌ "You just need to strengthen your core."
❌ "Drink a glass of wine and try to relax."
❌ "Just do more Kegels."
❌ "That's normal after kids."
❌ "It's just part of being a woman."
❌ "Just wait until you're done having babies before getting help."

The truth? Leaking, pelvic pressure, pain with intimacy, prolapse symptoms, and core dysfunction are commonβ€”but that doesn't mean they're normal or something you have to live with.

You deserve answers, options, and support nowβ€”not years from now when symptoms have taken over your life.

I've spent weeks planning, painting, measuring, assembling furniture, and bringing this space to life.

Meanwhile, my most important assistant has been making sure everything meets her standards. πŸ’š

As a mom, business owner, and physical therapist, this office represents so much more than a treatment room. It's a space built to help women feel supported, heard, and cared for through every stage of life.
