*All media content was taken with participants permission and does not include anyone currently receiving therapy services. OCA was founded in 2008 with the knowledge that children and adults with Autism and other disabilities need more opportunities to engage in age-ap

propriate activities with their typical peers. We offer Recreation Programs, Adult Program, Camps, Special Olympics training, ABA Therapy and other services for the Special Needs Community in Central Florida. “Special Needs” are commonly defined by what a person CAN’T do.

Joy is even sweeter when it’s shared 💙

Our participants spent the day passing smiles, laughter, and love to some of their favorite friends and staff at OCA, and moments like these are what community is all about. From small gestures to big connections, every interaction reminds us that belonging, kindness, and joy can brighten everyone’s day ✨

For Chloe, the most rewarding part of working at OCA is watching the children grow, from learning colors and letters to building social skills, confidence, and meaningful connections. 💙

At OCA, our team gets to be part of life-changing moments every single day while creating a supportive, inclusive environment where every individual is encouraged to reach their full potential.

If you’re looking for meaningful work where you can make a real impact in the lives of individuals and families, we’d love to hear from you.

For years, Ian’s family searched for a place where he would truly be seen, supported, and included. As a nonverbal adult with Angelman syndrome who requires around-the-clock care, they were often met with limitations, rejection, and programs that simply couldn’t meet his needs.

Then they found OCA.

Instead of hearing “no,” Ian and his family found a community that believed in his abilities, celebrated his individuality, and created opportunities for him to grow and contribute in meaningful ways. For Ian’s mom, OCA became more than a program, it became a partner in helping her son live a fuller, more joyful life. 💙

Every individual deserves the chance to belong, thrive, and be valued for exactly who they are. Learn more about OCA’s life-changing programs at gooca.org/programs.

Building confidence for the future 💙

Participants in OCA’s First Flight Academy recently focused on workplace safety skills, an important part of preparing for greater independence and future employment opportunities.

Through hands-on learning and real-world experiences, First Flight Academy helps young adults build social skills, independent living skills, and workplace readiness as they prepare for life beyond school services.

What an incredible day celebrating OCA’s expansion into Seminole County! ✂️🎉

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening celebration in Longwood. We’re thrilled to officially open our doors and begin serving more individuals and families throughout Seminole County.

We’re especially grateful to Orlando Health, whose generous support played a vital role in bringing this campus to life. Their partnership and commitment to our mission have helped make this expansion possible, creating even more opportunities for individuals with special needs to grow, connect, and thrive.

A big thank you goes to all our community partners, families, supporters, and friends who helped make this special day possible!

1 day to Seminole ✨

Our new Longwood campus, which is opening tomorrow, will bring OCA’s adult programs to Seminole County.

Designed for individuals ready for greater independence and purpose after the school years, these programs offer individualized support and opportunities to build real-life skills such as budgeting, meal prep, and community navigation.

Participants also gain experience through job training and volunteer opportunities, helping them take the next step forward with confidence.
