Bashy loves to wild out in his cubby bed. This thing is a lifesaver 💯 He would be all over the place otherwise 🙈 He has absolutely zero sense of safety, so everything is a potential hazard. We Love how happy he is in his zone 🐒🤸‍♂️🥰

Bashy B getting his EEG. No results yet, but his last one was ok. After his recent "seizure-like" activity, it's a precautionary measure. He was surprisingly good about it at first, but about 10 minutes in he was not having it 🙈 They got what they needed at least 💯

"(EEG) is a safe, non-invasive diagnostic test that records the electrical activity of the brain using small metal discs (electrodes) attached to the scalp. It is primarily used to detect brain wave abnormalities, such as those associated with epilepsy, sleep disorders, stroke, or head injuries.

Key Aspects of EEGProcedure:
During an EEG, you typically rest in a chair or bed while technicians record brainwave activity for about 90 minutes.

Diagnostic Purpose: It is most commonly used to diagnose and manage seizures, but also helps evaluate conditions like dementia, dizziness, headaches, and brain tumors.

Preparation: Patients are usually instructed to wash their hair the night before (avoiding conditioners/gels) and to avoid caffeine for at least eight hours prior to the test.

Results: The recording shows brain activity as wavy lines on a screen, which a specialist (neurologist) interprets for abnormal patterns.

Types: Standard, sleep, and ambulatory EEGs are available, with some studies tracking activity over 24 hours or longer.

EEG tests are crucial for detecting abnormalities like rapid spiking waves (seizures) or slower brain waves indicating other issues."

Autism Awareness Month hits different over here. 💙
This journey isn’t just about awareness — it’s about understanding, advocacy, patience, and celebrating every single victory, no matter how small it may seem to the outside world.
Sebastian has taught us a language beyond words. Strength beyond measure. Love without limits.
There are hard days. There are uncertain moments. But there is also so much beauty in the way he experiences the world — and in the way he’s reshaped ours.
We don’t just “raise awareness”…
We live it. We breathe it. We fight for it.
For inclusion. For compassion. For a world that sees our children fully — not for their challenges, but for their light.

It's been a while since we updated last. ❤️‍🩹
We have been focused on putting weight on, and keeping nutrition down.
He weighted 32 lbs, up from 29 in September.
He's finally made a slight mark on the growth curve for his age. 🥰
Yesterday, we saw our favorite Gastrointestinal Specialist, Dr D. Mettah at Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children . He has been following Sebastian's journey for three years now and we are so grateful to have found him when we did.
He put in referrals for intensive inpatient feeding therapies, which will require multiple weekly visits.
We are also on the path to finally getting off a wait-list and into ABA therapies.
Sebastian had a really good day yesterday, he was smiley and happy the whole ride. He loves going for rides with just Mom and Dad.
After the appt, we took a well around the Florida Mall, Mom and Dad had lunch at the food court, while Bash did plenty of babbling and people watching.
We would do anything for this sweet boy.
So grateful he's ours. ❣️🙏🏾

We became friends with TinySuperheroes DJ a couple years ago when Mom was looking for other special needs Mom's in fb groups. He is such a courageous little Warrior and we have enjoyed following along his journey. He just celebrated his 7th birthday with his loving family by his side. He has stolen the hearts of so many across the world and we are so sad to share this next bit of news.

This morning, DJ gained his wings, and we ask all our friends and followers to say a little prayer/send some good vibes to his family/wish him well on his next soul journey.

Praying for DJ's family. Keeping him lifted in love and light as he transitions peacefully. 👼🏼❤️‍🩹🙏🏾
