It's great that your biller is proactive in looking at prior billing to determine if previous claims have been paid. While this is a good practice, it should not result in the biller simply rebilling the claims. This should be the start of communication between your biller and collector. Unfortunately, this does not happen.

Rebilling claims without proper research can add to further delays in getting the cash through the door. Inundating the payer with multiple claims is not the solution, neither is repeatedly sending out incorrect claims.
