Introducing .wave to the world of water confidence. 🐟🐠🐬🦈🤿 This was not so much about learning technical skills, but rather using these skills as a vehicle for personal and athletic growth.

Duress in the water makes you confront fear, suppress panic, overcome failure, problem solve under stress, work unselfishly as a team, just to name a few qualities.

Confidence comes from knowing that even the smallest victory under water is something that you had to earn by overcoming a deep and primal threat..losing the ability to breathe.

Even though GPS allows us to measure time and distance pretty much anytime and anyplace, and we can share that data to the whole world, there’s still something about pinning on a number that creates more “skin in the game.”  
 
The experience of showing up and starting with a start line and crossing the finish will always get you invested at least a little bit more, no matter what your goal is for the day
