On Saturday, April 18, Open Door was happy to be a part of a Community Cancer Awareness Symposium at the Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church in Ossining. This program was a collaborative presentation including the Westchester County Department of Health, Cancer Support Team, the American Cancer Society, Cancer Services Program of the Hudson Valley, Family Services of Westchester COMHPS team, and Open Door Care Network. We are grateful for the opportunity to educate our community together.
El sábado 18 de abril, Open Door tuvo el placer de participar en un simposio comunitario de sensibilización sobre el cáncer organizado por la iglesia bautista Star of Bethlehem en Ossining. Este programa consistió en una presentación conjunta en la que participaron el Departamento de Salud del condado de Westchester, el Equipo de Apoyo contra el Cáncer, la Sociedad Americana contra el Cáncer, Programa de servicios de cáncer del Valle de Hudson, FSW COMHPS, y Open Door. Agradecemos la oportunidad de poder educar juntos a nuestra comunidad.
