My goal this year was to say yes to more opportunities that truly aligned with my business and brand. I wanted to surround myself with like minded people and people that could help me grow. And guess what?!

Opportunity after opportunity has presented itself and now the abundance is palpablešŸ¤šŸ¤ feeling more aligned than ever. Grateful for the rooms Iā€™ve been invited to and the women that have pushed me to say the scary ā€˜yes, Iā€™ll do itā€™

Iā€™m a praying woman and my prayer was ā€˜God help me align with people that will help me further the depth of my purpose. Expose the areas I need to continue to work on and help me to have the courage and discipline to practice. Show me what you want me to do to serve in your wishesā€™

Women Who Mothered Me šŸ¤

Motherhood has shown up in my life in so many beautiful forms.

In the women who shaped me, held me, taught me, challenged me, loved me, and showed me what strength can look like in every season.

My grandmother Esther, whose love still feels like a hand gently holding mine.

My mom, who has been there through every season and every version of me.

TĆ­a Norma, the steady one, the peacekeeper, the balance in the middle.

TĆ­a Chayo, who has redefined strength with grace, resilience, and unmatched power.

TĆ­a Chavela, my godmother, who helped create a home that became a safe place for all of us.

TĆ­a Eva, the laughter, the spark, the joy that keeps our family young.

Ms. Palmer, the love that was chosen, the refuge I can always return to.

And Momma Mary, who believed in me before the proof was there, and showed me what it means to open doors for others.

Each of them carries her own story, her own softness, her own kind of beauty.

Today, I honor the women who mothered me, the ones who loved me, guided me, protected me, prayed over me, opened doors for me, and became part of who I am.

Reporting back from the Rooted in Rest retreat hosted by Tamiko at The Homestead 1854 in Plano. If you missed it, you truly missed out!

We had a safe place to share our stories, a wonderful practitioner, Love, to guide us through EFT, Tamiko gave us some restorative yoga and reiki while Kari from filled the room with a sound bath. There were tears, latter, good eats. Best of all was seeing my friend do what she said she would do!!

There is something beautiful about seeing a loved one come into their purpose and watching all the doors open after months of dedication, devotion and hard work! Tamiko, once again, Iā€™m SO PROUD OF YOU! And THANK YOU for providing this space for all of us present yesterday!
