So honored to be a part of such a wonderful mental health community with incredibly supportive practitioners throughout Otsego, Elk River, and Rogers. A special thank you to Jenn Geryol with From the Ashes Counseling - MN who has always inspired me with her dedication to her clients, coworkers, and family.

From the Ashes Counseling provides therapeutic support for those experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, are in need of skill development, and other challenges, "discover the roots of what is keeping them stuck, and the tools and strategies to move forward into a life of joy, abundance, connection, and hope."

Jenny sees individuals, couples, and families, and has extensive experience working with those facing parenting challenges and with law enforcement and first responders.

We recently had the privilege of hearing from Jenny of The Branch Above Counseling. Getting to witness Jenny’s passion for people was truly amazing. She has a heart driven to help others, and it clearly shows in the way she supports her community.

Jenny offers a variety of services, including:

Men’s Wellness: Bringing awareness to the need to support and normalize mental health for men.

Individual and Family Therapy: Comprehensive, tailored individual and couples counseling for life’s challenges.

First Responder & Law Enforcement Support: Providing dedicated care for a group of individuals she is deeply passionate about supporting.

About Jenny: Her educational background combines Law Enforcement and Marriage and Family Therapy. She is a licensed LMFT in the state of Minnesota, is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and is currently accepting clients.

Thank you to the Minnesota Law Enforcement Explorer Association for putting together another great conference! It was another fun year of role-playing and watching each group's growth and skills on full display!

Minnesota Law Enforcement Explorer Association program is specifically designed to incorporate the following experience areas: career opportunities, life skills, service learning, character education, and leadership experience.

Today I had the privilege of seeing Kelly Friesen of Friesen Holistic Services LLC and Law Enforcement Training Academy & Consulting present to Law Enforcement Officers at Anoka County Sheriff's Office about supporting individuals on the Autism Spectrum. So thankful for the meaningful, practical, personal, and compassionate insight!

As a clinician who serves the first responder community, I deeply value opportunities like this to bridge gaps between mental health and the community systems!
