☕ Kenya Coffee will be with us from 10:00–11:00 AM, serving up coffee and creating the perfect little morning moment to slow down, connect, and enjoy some community.

Whether you’ve been before or this is your first time, you’re so welcome here. Come as you are, bring the kids, grab a coffee, and spend some time with us. 💕

We have a new name! 💙

The Illinois Valley Childbirth Collective is now the Illinois Valley Motherhood Collective!

Don’t worry—we’re still the same group, with the same heart and the same values. We’re just broadening our focus a little.

We realized that while pregnancy, birth, and postpartum will always be an important part of what we do, motherhood is so much bigger than childbirth. We also want women who are finished having babies to know that this community is for them, too.

There is so much value in bringing mothers in different seasons together—whether you’re preparing for your first baby, in the thick of raising little ones, or your baby days are behind you. We all have something to learn from each other and something to give.

So, it felt like it was time for a name that better reflected who we want to be.

Same group. Same heart. Just a little more room at the table. 💙

If all providers were so humble we would be in a much better place!

She is spot on…these are things are common in a hospital birth!! However, thinking about all of this while in labor isn’t always realistic SO hire a doula OR birth in a place that won’t do these unnecessary things!!!
