Be The Village Hello, my name is Sydney Cross. I am a mom of 4, postpartum doula and breastfeeding specialist who is passionate about "being the village”.

I provide a variety of support and resources to moms in Baldwin City and surrounding areas.

Sharing this local resource🩵

Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health's WIC team will be in Baldwin City next Tuesday, October 20th to provide services closer to home.

To schedule an appointment, call or text 785-856-5350.

Interested but want to learn more information? You can fill out the WIC interest form at ldchealth.org/wicif.

Women, Infants, and Children (WIC), provides:

- Personalized nutrition information and support

- Electronic benefit transfer cards to buy healthy food

- Breastfeeding support program

- Referrals for services that can benefit the whole family

You may be eligible for WIC services if you answer “yes” to any of these questions:

- Are you pregnant?

- Are you breastfeeding a baby?

- Have you had a pregnancy in the past 6 months?

- Do you have a child under the age of 5?

We were not meant to do motherhood alone. This group is a chance to come together, find your village, ask questions, share your highs and lows, and just be with others in the same season of life as you🩵
