☀️ The best time of year is finally here — sunshine, pool days, park trips, and all the summer fun! Before your kids head outside, let’s make sure their skin is ready for all those sunny adventures 💛

🌼 Bloom’s Quick Sun Safety Tips for Kids + Infants:

🧴 For children 6 months and older:
• Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen SPF 30+
• Apply 15 minutes before going outside
• Reapply every 2 hours (and after swimming or sweating)

👶 For babies under 6 months:
• Try to avoid direct sunlight when possible
• Use shade, hats, lightweight clothing, and stroller covers
• Small amounts of sunscreen may be used on tiny exposed areas if shade isn’t available

🕶️ Don’t forget the extras:
✔️ Hats
✔️ Sunglasses
✔️ Water breaks
✔️ Shade during peak sun hours (10 AM–4 PM)

☀️ Mineral sunscreens with zinc oxide or titanium dioxide are often the best choice for sensitive skin and little ones.

We are so proud to celebrate some BIG milestones for our staff families:

🍎 Kim's son, Thiago and Cheyanne's son, Melo both graduated from Pickwick Preschool and are officially part of the Class of 2039!

🍎 Shelby's daughter, Wrenley, graduated from Seton Catholic Prechool and will be graduating with the class of 2039!

🎓 Jacy's son, Draek graduated from Albia High School and plans to attend Indian Hills College for Automotive Technology - what an exciting new chapter ahead! 🚗

🎓 Emily's daughter, Graecie graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Human Development & Family Studies. She plans to continue her education by pursuing her Master's in Social Work at the University of Kentucky - amazing! 💙
