Canine atopic dermatitis can be a chronic disease that requires a long-term plan for management. In today's world, there are multiple anchor therapies to discuss with owners including three different Janus kinase inhibitors as well as anti-IL 31 monoclonal antibodies. However, challenging cases may require a multimodal approach to help provide the greatest possible control of disease. Join Dr. Andrew Simpson (DVM, DACVD) for the upcoming LIVE webinar, “Managing Chronic Canine Allergic Dermatitis: Going Beyond JAK inhibitors and mAbs.” Dr. Simpson will discuss a variety of complementary therapies to consider when managing the condition.

When Dosha Atwell, RVT, and Melissa Andrasik, RVT, BS, returned to their community college, MCC-Maple Woods Campus, to speak with vet tech students, it was a full-circle moment. Years ago, Melissa was Dosha’s instructor. Today, they are colleagues at Dechra helping shape the future of animal health.

Their message to students? There’s more than one path in this profession, and the options are broader than you might think.
From sharing real-world career journeys to talking about the future of vet tech roles, they left students with a new perspective and a lot of inspiration.

We’re proud to support the next generation of veterinary technicians and the educators who make it all possible. 💙
