New research highlights how diet and targeted supplementation may influence metabolic health in individuals with Down syndrome (Trisomy 21).

Following a 10-month intervention, researchers observed measurable changes across nutritional status, energy metabolism, gut microbial metabolites, and other biochemical markers.

Notably, the organic acids testing used in this study was performed by Great Plains Laboratory, now Mosaic Diagnostics.
