✨ Permanent Jewelry Chain Options ✨

Here’s a look at the chains I currently have available for permanent jewelry at Cry Later Tattoo Studio 💫

What is permanent jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is a custom-fit bracelet, anklet, or necklace that is welded closed—no clasp needed. It’s designed to stay on as a daily piece, symbolizing connection, memories, milestones, or simply something beautiful you never have to take off.

Chain Materials Available:

✨ Gold Filled
High-quality and long-lasting. Gold filled jewelry has a thick layer of real gold bonded to a base metal, making it durable, tarnish-resistant, and safe for everyday wear. It gives you the look and feel of solid gold without the high price tag.

✨ Sterling Silver (Real Silver)
Classic, bright, and timeless. Sterling silver is a precious metal that can last forever with proper care. It may naturally oxidize over time, but can easily be cleaned and restored to its original shine.

✨ PVD Gold (Gold Tone)
PVD (Physical V***r Deposition) bonds a gold-colored layer to stainless steel, making it more durable than standard plating. It’s a great affordable option that holds its color well with daily wear.

✨ PVD Silver (Stainless Steel)
A sleek, cool-toned option made from stainless steel. Extremely durable, low maintenance, and resistant to tarnishing—perfect for a bright silver look that holds up to everyday life.

Each piece is custom sized to you and welded for a seamless, dainty finish 💛

Perfect for best friends, couples, milestones, or a little “I made it through this” reminder.

✨ I’m available to travel for life events, festivals, get-togethers, business events, and parties. Please message me for more information!

✨ I’m currently working on a price menu that will be available on social media soon along with a charm bar!—stay tuned!

Message me to book your appointment or stop by to pick your chain ✨

***this is NOT MY POST OR SIGN… but I wanted to share this… along with my comment I added****. Being booked out three months in advance is typically a strong indicator of a reputable and in-demand artist.

When scheduling an appointment, it is the client’s responsibility to clarify any policies—this includes whether children are permitted in the studio. Tattoo artists and studios are not responsible for supervising children, and tattoo environments are not designed to function as childcare spaces.

Tattooing requires a high level of concentration, precision, and adherence to strict health and safety protocols. Bringing a child into that environment—especially one who requires supervision—can create unnecessary distractions and potential safety risks. It is not unreasonable or “rude” for a studio to enforce boundaries that protect both their workflow and the well-being of everyone present.

While tattooing is not surgery, it is still a procedure that involves exposure to bodily fluids and requires a controlled, sanitary environment. In shared studio settings, there may be multiple clients and artists working at once. For this reason, minimizing unnecessary exposure—especially for children—is both a professional and ethical standard.

From a health standpoint, bloodborne pathogens such as Hepatitis C can survive outside the body for extended periods under certain conditions. This further reinforces why maintaining a controlled environment and limiting non-essential individuals in the workspace is critical.

Ultimately, these policies are not about being unwelcoming—they are about maintaining professionalism, safety, and respect for both the artist’s craft and the client experience.

Are you actually kidding me right now?!

Ive had an appointment at this tattoo shop for THREE MONTHS, I finally show up today, and this is the lovely greeting I get on the door.

“NO KIDS unless THEY are getting pierced.”
“Sorry this is NOT a daycare.”
“Yes that means YOUR kids. They are not special.”

Excuse me?! I don’t even have kids I’m here with my little brother because I have no one else to watch him. But apparently that doesn’t matter to these people. The hostility is actually insane.

Since when did a piercing/tattoo shop start acting like they’re doing brain surgery? It’s not that deep.

The entitlement and rudeness is next level. Maybe if your signs weren’t so aggressively nasty, you wouldn’t have a three-month wait for appointments.

I’m genuinely shocked at how nasty this is. Some of us are just trying to get a simple piercing and don’t have a village to watch our siblings.

Do better. This energy is ugly. I will definitely NOT be getting my tattoo done here.

Another collaboration! This Friday, the 13th of March! Cry Later Tattoo and Monarch Ink will be hosting yet another flash sale. We will have a few St. Patrick's pieces. Hoosier Burger will be coming in from Evansville with their food truck during the evening, and I believe Montago’s Tasty Tings will be there during the day. With St. Patrick's Day around the corner, you might just be as lucky as a four-leaf clover and win our giveaway! Every person who gets tattooed will be entered into a drawing to win an 18k gold-filled or silver permanent bracelet. You can enter as many times as you'd like (the more tattoos you get, the better your chances!). Flash will be posted in the next day or so. Come out and say hello, maybe get tattooed!
