We want to give a special shout out this Hunger Action Month to Owosso Organics and Pooh Stevenson for their support during the RNC program. They delivered over 400 pounds of fresh produce for us to hand out this summer! 🥬🫑

One of our RNC guests commented, "The fresh produce we get every week is so nice. It's really nice that she works hard to make sure the families have things we can't always afford at the store."

This program was made possible with a grant from the Cook Family Foundation. We have food heroes all around us! 💚

One in 8 children in the U.S. faces hunger. Together, we can change that. 🥕 💛 At the Shiawassee Family YMCA, we believe every meal fuels a future. From afterschool snacks to summer lunches, we're here to make sure no child goes hungry. So far, in 2026, our Y has provided over 26,000 meals to kids in our community. Join us in taking action during Hunger Action Month! Attend our Food Access Volunteer Training on September 17 or 18 to learn how you can help. RSVP to [email protected].
