Going through old photos!!
The first one was at my tiny room in Corunna! Im honestly so grateful and thankful that the atty who owned the building let me out of my lease. That was extremely kind to allow me to move on so quickly.
The others were when i first moved in on Washington.
I had so much room and didnt know what to with it back then!
Omgosh a manual table!? This is why i started cheap! I understood i was a noob and needed experience and didnt want anyone feeling like they didnt get a good value. ($45 for 60 mins!!!)
Also pictured is my dollar a min sign in front of my station wagon! I had so much fun doing chair massage at the farmers market and met a lot of great people. That was very hard for me to do as it forced me to be social and brave which back then was exhausting for me.
Do i do chair massage now? I mean maybe for $10 a minute on a beach in the Carribean. No way. My current massage table cost as much as that station wagon and that's the used EarthLite price! I just like being in my own space.
It's just getting a bit cramped in here!
Ooh i found more! The cabinets were an unfortunate shade of blonde wood. I didnt paint them, i Gel stained them. Spent so much money on Old Masters Gel and Scheffeilds liquid gold foil. 😆
The building was beige! With a black rectangle for a sign! Awful!!
Pretty sure Jerry and I will be changing spaces until we are too old to hold a paint brush. We've really put a lot of love, time, money and so much energy into this space and Im happy that it's noticable as a good energy to those that are welcomed in. I always say I do massage so I can decorate and just happen to have a nack for both. 😄
Big shout out to my Handsome Muscle, my pick up and put down guy, my ride or die and get things done guy. My math minded hustler who always finds a way to make my dreams a reality. Thanks husband!
And thanks to everyone who entrusted me with the opportunity to provide a better quality of life. Isn't that all what we're searching for?
❤️
