I see this all the time in practice: a child has a symptom, but there’s often more going on underneath it 🤎
ADHD, bedwetting, recurrent ear infections, digestive issues, skin problems, frequent sickness, and other childhood health concerns can have many different contributing factors. When I’m working with kids, I’m looking beyond the symptom and asking, “Why is this happening in the first place?”
Things like gut health, parasites, mold and fungal exposure, lymphatic drainage, nutrient deficiencies, toxin burden, nervous system regulation, oral development, and emotional stress can all be pieces of the puzzle depending on the child.
And this is exactly why I believe in starting root-cause care early. Naturopathic care isn’t just about what to do when your child is sick. It’s also about prevention and building a stronger foundation for their health as they grow.
With back-to-school season here and schedules getting busy again, this is a great time to get your kids on the schedule. Establishing care now means you have support when the next fever, ear infection, stomach bug, or random symptom pops up, while also giving us the opportunity to work on the bigger picture.
You don’t have to wait until your child is struggling with a chronic issue to start paying attention to the why. The earlier we support the foundation, the better. 🌿
