The last two years have been some of the hardest of my life.

Grief changed me in ways I never expected. I lost weight, muscle, energy, mental clarity, and at times, I honestly did not feel like myself. As I’ve stepped into my mid-40s, my body is yo-young and I’ve had to learn how to care for my body in a new way.

As I’ve been studying toward my Functional Medicine certification, I became more interested in peptides and the role they may play in supporting wellness. What really pushed me to speak about it, though, was hearing how many people were turning to unregulated “research grade” products without truly knowing what they were putting into their bodies.

I believe God created our bodies with purpose, and we are called to steward them well. For me, wellness starts with faith, wisdom, nourishment, movement, and rest.

That is part of why I chose to partner with EllieMD — and why I personally decided to explore some of these options through a medically supervised route myself.

Through this platform, there are options related to weight loss, longevity, and sexual health. I’m not prescribing through this post or through DMs. I’m simply sharing a resource for those who have been asking where to start.
