I am very thankful that the Lord brought me back to Honduras to serve alongside such a selfless, caring group of people. I saw the love of the Lord through this group and through each child in Honduras.

We visited different elementary schools and one high school throughout the week. One group did a great job of teaching that our strength comes from the Lord, the battle is the Lord’s, & you use what you have through acting out and explaining David vs. Goliath from the Bible. Another group explained salvation by making salvation bracelets with the kids, and at least two kids chose to accept Christ as Savior of their life. My group gave worming medication, hygiene kits, and medical care as needed. We had an amazing group of Hondurans who helped with translation and made it even more fun for the kids. We also served a group of pastors on Friday with food, medical care, and clothes/shoes. It was such a blessing to be a part of.

God’s faithfulness, protection, provision, and love were evident each day - our medications didn’t arrive as planned, but the Lord provided with what we had; we had a flat tire, but made it to our destination when we realized it, to a place easier to change it; we had the help and resources we needed each day; answered prayers; hugs, smiles, laughter; my luggage was stolen but our group took care of me in what I lost; and so much more.

Thank you, Lord, for bringing me back to Honduras, for new and old friends, for showing me more of Your love and how to live selflessly, for Your protection, provision, faithfulness, and love always. Guide me in Your ways each day & in continuing to care for Your most prized creation here in Mississippi & wherever You lead me. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

“And the King will answer them, ‘I assure you: Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.’” Matthew 25:40

Last week I had the opportunity to spend time at Roots Integrative expanding my training in functional and integrative medicine, and I’m so grateful for the experience.

I went to learn more advanced testing options, treatment strategies, and root-cause approaches so I can better serve my patients with thoughtful, personalized care. I truly believe our bodies were designed with incredible wisdom, and my role is to keep learning how to support that design rather than just quiet symptoms.

I see continuing education as part of my calling. The Lord has entrusted me with the responsibility of caring for people in vulnerable seasons of their health, and I don’t take that lightly. Growing my knowledge and tools is one way I steward that responsibility well.

Excited to begin integrating what I learned and thankful for the opportunity to keep growing. Thankful the Lord continues to open doors for learning so I can show up better for the people He brings into my practice.

Merry Christmas!

““For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world that He might condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.”
‭‭John‬ ‭3‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭

The holidays are full of gifts, but some of the most meaningful ones aren’t wrapped in paper. The gift of wellness is about offering support, care, and the opportunity to feel better, especially for someone who’s been quietly carrying fatigue, stress, digestive issues, hormone imbalances, or chronic symptoms.

We help people understand their bodies and feel supported from the inside out. Whether it’s advanced functional testing, personalized wellness plans, nutritional guidance, or lifestyle support, wellness care can be a thoughtful way to invest in long-term health for yourself or someone you love.

This season, consider a gift that supports clarity, balance, and healing beyond the holidays. Wellness isn’t about perfection or quick fixes; it’s about feeling seen, supported, and empowered to take the next step. Because caring for your health or encouraging someone else to do the same is one of the most meaningful gifts you can give. 💟
