I can’t tell you how many patients I meet who have never heard of an A1C—or don’t understand how vital healthy kidneys are to their overall well-being.🩸

Black people are 4x more likely to have Chronic Kidney Disease!! FOUR TIMES🔈

This is where awareness starts.
This is where prevention begins.

We are fighting the mental anxieties of scananxiety, taking pills, doctor's appointments, recurrence, etc...

Breast Cancer doesn't end when we ring the bell 🔔

Its affects us for the rest of our lives even when not in treatment!

I was definitely triggered today and I know it may not be malicious from people who have never dealt with cancer but please STOP 🛑 telling cancer survivors & thrivers how many people you know who have DIED from that same cancer which a survivor is fighting or thriving with!!

Our Guest Speaker, LaToya Bolds-Johnson, is a Board-Certified Physician Assistant, Stage 3C Triple Negative Breast Cancer survivor, and advocate for health equity.

Our evening will include the survival stories of our own Mochas.
