April is Child Abuse Awareness Month 💙

Every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and protected 🧸

Child abuse is not always visible. It can show up in changes in behavior, withdrawal, fearfulness, aggression, or difficulty trusting others. As adults—parents, caregivers, teachers, and community members—we all play a role in noticing, responding, and protecting 👀

Prevention starts with connection 🤝
When children feel heard, believed, and supported, healing becomes possible 🌱

What we can do:
• Listen without judgment 👂
• Take disclosures seriously 🗣️
• Teach safe boundaries and body autonomy 🚸
• Report concerns when needed 📞
• Support families and reduce isolation 🏡

To the children who have experienced harm—you are not alone, and what happened to you is not your fault 💙

💛 October is ADHD Awareness Month!

ADHD is one of the most common neurodevelopmental conditions, but it’s often missed in girls and women because their symptoms may be less visible. Many girls internalize their struggles, appearing quiet, anxious, or “daydreamy” instead of hyperactive.

Awareness matters. Early recognition and support can make all the difference. Let’s break the stigma and celebrate the strengths, creativity, and resilience of those with ADHD. 🌟
