Our local hardworking EMS personnel getting an opportunity to relax, refresh and renew. Thank you all for taking good care of the people! We get to do it again this Thursday for other EMS good hearted souls.

As some of you know, my husband Tom has dementia. He is now in a local nursing home and is on hospice. His memory, language and cognitive skills have sharply declined. However, his gong playing skills are still intact and it always amazes me. I gave him his Olli Hess mallets and he played the room yesterday. Listening to his playing gave me new ideas to incorporate in my own way of playing.

It has been really, really, really hard…..
