MEET JUAN ⭐

Ask Juan what his perfect day looks like and he has the best answer:

“Dance a lot. And eat.” ❤️

That’s Juan.

He loves ranchera and reggaeton, and he doesn’t just listen. He wants to sing, dance and be right in the middle of it. Give him a celebrity moment and he’s choosing a microphone, ranchera music and a dance floor.

He loves basketball, UNO, Peppa Pig, cats, the color pink, spaghetti, beans and rice. And then there’s something wonderfully Juan about finding pure joy in something as simple as tearing paper.

His family has learned to treasure those moments of joy. Their journey has brought challenges, lessons and a whole lot of love. Through it all, Juan has taught them about strength, perseverance and the importance of celebrating every accomplishment.

They couldn’t be prouder of the young man he is becoming.

On October 3, it’s our turn to celebrate Juan.

Cheer a little louder. Clap a little harder. And when Juan starts dancing, don’t leave him out there alone. ❤️

Kids don’t want to be in the hospital. It can be scary, unfamiliar and stressful for the whole family.

That’s where Little Smiles comes in, helping create moments of comfort, joy and normalcy for children when they need it most.

Because sometimes a little smile can make a very difficult day feel a little less scary.

It starts with a dress. ✨

But what you’re really seeing is a child getting to choose how she wants to shine.

That’s the magic of Stars Ball.

Long before the ballroom fills, our Stars are choosing dresses, planning their hair, getting excited about their big night and realizing something pretty incredible:

All of this is for them. 💙

Then October 3 happens.

They walk into a room filled with people who came to celebrate them. They hear their names. They feel the love. They dance. They laugh. They get to be exactly what we already know they are:

⭐️ The stars of the night.

And somehow, every year, the people who come to celebrate them leave feeling like they received just as much as they gave.

Happy Labor Day from Little Smiles!

Today, we’re especially grateful for the nurses, law enforcement officers, first responders and other hardworking professionals who care for and protect children and families every day.

Little Smiles is proud to work alongside so many of these dedicated partners to bring comfort, joy and support to kids when they need it most.

There’s something incredibly special about young people learning that showing up for someone else matters. That a fun day at school can become comfort, joy and a really good day for a child who needs one.

MEET EMMANUEL ⭐️

Some people walk into a room and you notice them.

Emmanuel walks into a room and somehow, within minutes, you know him.

He’ll walk right up, introduce himself and start a conversation like you’ve been friends for years. He’s confident, incredibly funny, warm and curious, with the kind of personality that pulls people in.

And there is a LOT to know.

He fishes. He plays chess. He builds. He codes. He loves dogs enough to start his own neighborhood dog-walking business. He wants to become a mechanical engineer and already has an invention in mind: a sonar sensor fishing line. 🎣

Ask him about his perfect day and buckle up. It includes a beach, a fishing rod, sushi served from a floating basket, Hawaiian pizza on a mountain, a yacht, a tomahawk steak and eventually a palm-tree bed.

Obviously. 😂

But underneath all that personality is something even better: a genuinely big heart. The same kid who can command a room also notices the people around him, forms real connections and finds ways to make someone else’s day a little brighter.

Emmanuel doesn’t need much help being a star.

We just get the privilege of celebrating him like one. ⭐️

Little Smiles works closely with nurses who know exactly what can bring comfort to a child in the hospital, from a favorite toy to a simple surprise that helps make a hard day feel a little easier.

✨ MEET MYESHA ✨

Her favorite color is pink.
She loves to dance and sing.
She’ll take pasta, pizza or chicken nuggets, please. Nerds Clusters for dessert. 💗

She loves Toy Story and Moana, dogs, soccer and Cristiano Ronaldo.

And when it came time to choose the song she wants playing when she walks the Stars Ball red carpet?

“Girl on Fire.” 🔥

Of course she did.

Because Myesha may only be eight, but this little girl already knows something about strength. She loves big, believes deeply, and has a family who has taught her to keep the faith and never give up.

In Myesha’s own words:

“My story is still being written. And I believe the best chapters are still ahead.”

On October 3, one of those chapters gets to be all about her.

The dress.
The red carpet.
The music.
The cheers.

And one very special little girl getting to feel exactly the way every child deserves to feel: celebrated. 🌟
