Eisenhower Health Recognized as an LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality High Performer by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation
Rancho Mirage, CA (June 30, 2026)— Eisenhower Health has been recognized as an LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality High Performer in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2026 Healthcare Equality Index (HEI), a national benchmarking tool that evaluates health care organizations on policies and practices that support equitable, inclusive care for LGBTQ+ patients, visitors and employees.
The designation reflects Eisenhower Health’s ongoing commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality health care in an environment where every patient is treated with dignity, respect and professionalism.
“At Eisenhower Health, we believe every person deserves exceptional health care delivered with compassion, dignity and respect,” says Martin Massiello, President and Chief Executive Officer, Eisenhower Health. “This recognition reflects the dedication of our physicians, nurses and staff to creating an environment where every patient feels welcomed, valued and supported. We are proud to provide high-quality care for everyone who turns to Eisenhower Health.”
Published every two years by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, the Healthcare Equality Index is the nation’s leading benchmarking survey evaluating policies and practices related to the equitable treatment and inclusion of LGBTQ+ patients, visitors and employees.
In the 2026 report, nearly 750 health care facilities participated nationwide. Of those surveyed, 46% earned the LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality High Performer designation, while 44% received the Healthcare Equality Leader designation.
The Healthcare Equality Index helps health care organizations strengthen inclusive practices while serving as a resource for patients seeking providers committed to equitable, respectful care.
