Is it time to retire the term "endoleak"?

A new publication developed from the 2025 Vascular Leaders Forum proposes replacing the term "endoleak" with "sac flow" to better reflect the underlying physiology and clinical significance of post-EVAR findings.

The publication highlights how medical terminology shapes understanding, communication, and care decisions.
