It has been an amazing journey that started 24 years ago when I joined The Gauntlet as a body piercer. Over that time, I’ve had the opportunity to open many of my own studios, finally landing here in Palm Springs in 2004. Through Palm Springs Piercing Company, I have met and worked with many amazing clients, many of whom I consider dear friends. I am indebted to those who have supported me and encouraged me to build a piercing business that I take great pride in.
Six years ago, I had the incredible luck to meet my husband, Rob. He came to me for one ear-piercing and has been at my side ever since. With his assistance, we grew the business even more on the retail clothing side. Despite the challenges presented by the pandemic of 2020, the menswear division got us through.
As my 25th anniversary as a body piercer approaches, I must admit that I am a bit tired. Piercing dozens of clients weekly is taking its toll on both Rob and me. So, after a great deal of thought and business planning, we have decided to retire from the body modification industry and give our full attention to Division Clothing.
We have set a date of July 27th as the last day of business for Palm Springs Piercing Company. After that date we will no longer perform services of any kind as the piercing room will not be set up for procedures. Also, we will not be taking any more special orders for jewelry, but will continue to process those that have already been placed.
I am eternally grateful to all who have contributed to our shop’s success. We hope that you will be as excited as us as we begin our new endeavor with Division Clothing.

Aloha and welcome back!

As of January 25, 2021, California has lifted the stay-at-home order for our region. We are able to resume piercing services, but with some restrictions.

We are following all Department of Health guidelines which means we are working on an appointment-only basis -- we cannot take walk-ins. Furthermore, we are working on a one-on-one basis -- we cannot accommodate groups or guests. Masks must be worn at all times -- we are not performing any nasal or oral services yet.

As of today, Monday, December 7, 2020, Southern California is once again under a state-mandated stay at home order. Therefore, we are open for jewelry sales ONLY. We cannot perform any services...piercings, insertions, removals...for at least three weeks.

COVID-19 update...As of yesterday, Riverside County was moved back into the purple tier, the most restrictive. HOWEVER, the state also announced that all personal care services, including tattoo and piercing shops, can continue indoor operations in the purple tier. So, yay 😃!

We are continuing to follow Department of Health guidelines. We are still working on an appointment-only basis for services, and we are not performing any nasal or oral procedures...anything that requires the removal of a mask. If you would like to make an appointment, please call us at 760-327-1656.

We're back!!!! (mostly)

On September 22, 2020, the State of California moved Riverside County into the red tier. This allows us to resume services, but with modifications. Modifications include:

Face masks must be worn at all times

We are piercing on an appointment-only basis, no walk-ins are allowed

Insertions, removals and switch-outs also require an appointment Piercing is done one-on-one, clients may not bring guests (except for minors who must be accompanied by one parent or legal guardian)

Please arrive no more than ten minutes early for your appointment, or you may need to wait outside

We are not performing any piercings, insertions, removals or switch-outs of jewelry that require the removal of face masks (no nasal or oral piercings, insertions, removals)

Our remodel is done and we're back open for jewelry sales!

Unfortunately, due to COVID, piercing shops are not allowed to resume services such as piercings and insertions in Riverside County. We are currently in the purple tier (tier 1). We will be able to perform piercings when the County's COVID metrics improve and it is moved to the red tier (tier 2). Please stay safe and healthy, and hopefully we'll be able to get back to work quickly.

Because of the troubling trend upward in COVID-19 metrics in Riverside County, the State of California has ordered us to once again temporarily suspend all piercing services.

We are open for retail only at this time.

Aloha and welcome back!

As of June 19, 2020, we've been given the go ahead to resume services. And not a moment too soon. As we watched all other business opening up, we were beginning to feel like the poor kid in gym class that was always picked last.

Now that we’ve been cleared by the State and Department of Health to resume services, we’re excited to get back to work. As always, we’re committed to our community’s health and will be obeying some new government health codes and social-distancing. For now, we ask that you observe the following prior to seeing us:

• No walk-in appointments are allowed. Please call (760)327-1656 and we will make every attempt to accommodate you as quickly as possible.

• Call from your car when you arrive. We will let you know when we are ready for you and one guest only to enter the studio. No children or pets, please, and only when you have been instructed to do so.

• If you are more than 10 minutes late for an appointment, we may not be able to see you for your scheduled time. We will, however, do all we can to fit you in at a later time.

• All guests must wear a face covering upon entry. Our counter staff will greet you, take your temperature, and give you a health screening before your service.

• If you are not feeling well or have recently been sick, we cannot see you today, however, we will reschedule your appointment for a safer time.

• Please only bring your keys, phone, and payment method into the studio. No other items are allowed.

• While in the studio, please refrain from touching/handling your piercings (even if they are healed). Do not insert, change or remove your jewelry inside of the studio.

• If you are bringing in previously worn jewelry to have it inserted (or otherwise), please bring it in a clean, sealed baggie or container. If you have forgotten to do so, please wait for staff to provide you with a cup.

• Do not place your jewelry on the counter or other surfaces in the studio.

• For the procedure, only the client will be allowed in the piercing room, except in the case of a minor. Minors must be accompanied by one parent or legal guardian at all times through the procedure.

• If you have any questions, would like an appointment, or simply like to purchase jewelry or products, please call the studio at (760)327-1656 and we will be happy to assist you.
