😂🛒 THE $20 FLEX — Grocery Outlet Employee Edition! 🛒😂

You never quite know what you’re walking into when you clock in around here… especially when Nina is working. 🤣

As each of our front-end employees clocked in, one of the FIRST things Nina asked them was:

“Do you trust me?” 👀😂

Every. Single. One. said YES.

Her response? “Okay, give me your phone and your watch.” 📱⌚🤣

And they DID! Phones, Apple Watches, regular watches — handed them right over. They had absolutely NO IDEA what she had planned.

SURPRISE! 🎉 Welcome to THE $20 FLEX — Back-to-School Strategy Game! 🎒🧠💰

I’ll let you read all of Nina’s rules on the paper in the attached photos because she definitely thought this one through! 😂 The goal was to get as close to $20.00 as possible without going even ONE PENNY OVER. The winner got a $20 Grocery Outlet gift card! 🎉

Just in time for them to finish their first week back at school… because apparently their brains hadn’t worked hard enough all week. 🤣🧠📚 Nina had to make them brains think some more! 😂

But seriously… THANK GOD FOR NINA. ❤️🙏

Nina is a strong leader with such a fun personality. She’s hilarious, she knows how to make work fun and keep everyone laughing, but she also knows when it’s time to get down to business and get the job DONE. 💪 She genuinely makes my job easier, and I appreciate her more than she probably realizes. We are so blessed to have her in our store. ❤️

And while our front-end crew were the ones who got to participate in this particular game, I want to make sure our ENTIRE STORE gets the recognition they deserve. ❤️

We have GREAT employees throughout every department. They work HARD, they show up, they get things done, and it takes every single one of them to make our store what it is. I am incredibly thankful for this whole crew. 🥹❤️🛒

We work hard. We get down to business. But we’re definitely going to have some fun along the way. 😂❤️

And now I think our employees have learned one very important lesson…
