PART-TIME OFFICE CLERK POSITION
High Plains Disability Advocates is seeking office clerk approximately 20 hours a week with a flexible work schedule. The ideal candidate will have: Experience working in a professional office setting; Good interpersonal skills with a warm, patient demeanor; Strong organization skills with ability to multi-task; Ability to proficiently fax, copy, scan and operate a multi-line phone system; Experience with Microsoft Office and menu driven data base software. The ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred (but not required to apply). Initial projects include: filing, scanning, entering/ retrieving database information, answering phones, providing basic customer service assistance, ensuring protected information is handled securely and other tasks as needed. I was reminded of the truth of this song by a client of mine last week. It makes news this morning of a favorable outcome in his case all the more satisfying.
