No es mi mejor trabajo pero Mayo es el mes de la salud mental y no quería dejar pasar la oportunidad de crear conciencia sobre esto de alguna manera, y esto es lo mejor que se hacer. Las enfermedades mentales en su mayoría no se ven, pero porque no sean visibles no significa que no duelan igual. Diría que definitivamente hay cosas que marcan la vida de uno, al punto que la mente se afecta para siempre. Debemos crear conciencia y aprender a ser más comprensivos para acabar con el estigma que existe hacia las enfermedades mentales hoy en día.

Mi mensaje es claro. No podemos dejarnos llevar por lo que vemos en la superficie, en el exterior. Las personas aveces tienen heridas profundas que no son visibles, y que causan daños irreversibles en el psyche de las personas. Yo padezco también de enfermedades invisibles(BPD, etc) y muchas veces me he sentido incomprendida. Siendo pisoteada por palabras como “eso son changerias”, “el que está asi es porque quiere”, “tómate unas patillas y ya”, “suicidate”....¡YA BASTA DEL ESTIGMA Y EL TABÚ!

El suicido es la décima causa de muerte en los Estados Unidos. En 2018 hubieron 1.4 MILLONES de su***de attempts, y murieron más de 48,000 personas a causa de esto. Todos los días se suicidan 22 veteranos en Estados Unidos por falta de tratamiento adecuado o atención suficiente.
