Okay now to Betsy because this made me laugh.

Betsy came in for her scheduled brow appointment and within the first five minutes she looked at me and said, “Actually… maybe I should just do lips instead. My brows are fine.”

I looked at her.

She looked at me.

And I said… respectfully… no! 😂

Not because her brows were bad at all, but because I could immediately see the asymmetry and shape imbalance that she had gotten used to seeing every day. We all do that. Our brains get comfortable and start saying, "Looks fine to me."
Luckily, she trusted me and we stuck with the original plan. And WOW.
Permanent makeup isn't about giving everyone giant dramatic Instagram brows. It's about creating balance, softness, better symmetry, and a shape that flatters your features so you still look like YOU... just a version that doesn't need to negotiate with a brow pencil every morning.
Betsy walked out looking refreshed, lifted, and more even ! and the best part? Still completely natural.

Now… let’s talk about this client because WOW.

This is honestly one of the biggest transformations I’ve ever witnessed. Originally, she came in booked for eyebrows only. While chatting with her, we noticed she had very little pigment, shape, and definition in her lips. Mrs. Darlean and Hevini made a spontaneous decision to complete lip blushing that same day… and I am so glad they did. Full disclosure because we always keep it real around here:
I actually left after finishing her brows, so I didn’t get the immediate after photo of the lips… but from what I heard? The fresh results looked BOLD. Swollen. A little bruised. A little “oh my gosh what did I do?” 😅 And honestly? That’s NORMAL.

We tell clients all the time: do not judge your tattoo on procedure day. Healing is where the magic happens ✨

When she returned for her touch-up, I was genuinely shocked. She looked so youthful, refreshed, and bright. I actually asked her if she had gotten lip filler…
Her answer? “Nope, just what y’all did. But everyone is complimenting me .”
It was simply the definition and color restoration from lip blushing.💋

Now before anyone comes for me 😂 I personally still love filler and plan on getting filler myself regularly , so this is NOT an anti-filler post. Filler gives volume. Lip blushing gives definition. And if you ask me… the combo is chef’s kiss 😉💋 But seeing her healed results reminded me how much beautiful definition can completely change the face.

She came in with previous eyebrow work that had faded significantly over time. Together, we decided they had lightened enough that I could safely correct both the shape and the color. One thing I always explain to clients: when old brows are still too dark, there’s only so much correction I can do, and in many cases, I recommend laser tattoo removal first before creating something new.
But Katys’s brows gave us room to work ✨ We were able to slightly raise her arch and actually make her brows thinner and softer than the previous tattoo while still keeping them healthy and balanced for her face. I always tell my clients: we can add later but we can’t easily take away. That’s why I prefer to start conservatively at the first session and build if needed. And I think it’s safe to say… these results fit her face perfectly 😍 That smile says it all.

Now onto today's transformation because this one made my whole day!
Casey came in for brows and immediately brought the BEST energy. Happy, giggly, funny... one of those people that feels like you've known forever after 10 minutes.
We started mapping and discovered left brow was sitting a little higher than the other (as brows love to do because apparently symmetry is optional
😅). So we adjusted and mapped
accordingly because we are NOT leaving here looking surprised on one side and confused on the other. Wonky brows? Not on my watch.
Once we finished and she saw the results, she was obsessed (same honestly) looking happy, brows are lifted and overall just glowing! 😍She was
having such a good time she decided to stay longer and get some fine line tattoos done with my bestie Simply Fine Ink - by Hevini too because apparently we're offering extended stay packages now.😅

These are my favorite appointments - good conversation, lots of laughs, making people feel good and leaving with gorgeous brows AND bonus memories.🫶🏼

Continuing with the beautiful mother-daughter day I had booked … after sharing my sweet client who came in with her mom, now it’s time to introduce Mrs. Johanna 💛

Mrs. Johanna has got to be one of the sweetest, happiest humans ever. She was SO excited to finally get her eyebrows done, and seeing that excitement throughout the appointment made this transformation even more special. And I have to say… her before & after is definitely one for the books ✨

Side note because I have to be transparent with you all , I don’t know what is happening lately with my phone and camera, but my pictures have been coming out so yellow/warm 😩 I’ve noticed especially when clients wear blue toned shirts /dresses , the lighting shifts and throws everything off and makes the photos look warmer than they really are. I’ve been constantly changing angles, adjusting lighting, trying different settings… and honestly, I’m starting to think it’s time for a phone upgrade 😂 so side note, don’t come in blue (specifically baby blue/denim/lilac) 🥹

As someone who takes so much pride in my work, it’s frustrating when the final photos don’t fully represent what I see in person. I always want every transformation to be shown as beautifully and accurately as possible.

But even with my camera struggles… Mrs. Johanna’s transformation still shines through and I am OBSESSED with how her brows turned out 🤎
