My favorite kind of full circle moment… I’ve already had the pleasure of doing her daughter’s brows and lips, so getting to work on Deena was extra special. And clearly, beauty runs in this family , they just came to me to make sure the brows got the memo. 😄She is such a bright, beautiful woman, and her brows needed to match her personality .

One of the biggest mistakes I see is thinking permanent makeup will end up looking thicker, darker, or more dramatic than a client needs.

It doesn’t.

The wrong brow shape can actually overshadow your features instead of enhancing them. And no, I’m not trying to give everyone the same Instagram brow from 2018. We’ve evolved.

When I design brows, I look at your face. Your skin tone. Your natural brow hair. Your hair color. Your bone structure. Your features. Then I create something that makes sense for YOU.

Not quite ready to commit to permanent makeup? Totally fair. 😂

Sometimes you just want to date your brows before marrying them.
That’s where brow lamination + tint comes in. 🤍

Brow lamination is basically a little brow makeover that smooths and sets your natural brow hairs into a fuller, more lifted shape. Then we add a custom tint to give the brows a little more definition and color.
The result? Your brows, just… behaving themselves. 😂

The whole service takes about an hour, and there’s no permanent commitment. It’s a great way to see what a more defined brow could look like before deciding if PMU is for you.

First… I owe you all a little explanation for being MIA! 🥹💕 I’ve been out for the last few weeks recovering from surgery. Thankfully, everything went wonderfully, and I’m officially on the mend! 🙌🏼

Our new client Lily came in with a beautiful set of natural brows but sometimes it’s not about needing MORE brow… it’s about creating the right shape, balance & definition. 🤌🏼 Her brows had plenty of fullness through the fronts and bodies, but the arches and tails were lacking that fullness and structure, which can make the brows feel a little uneven or incomplete.

Typically 4-5 even 7 years, depending on your skin, lifestyle, and how well you care for your lips during the healing process. Proper aftercare is KEY!

💋 “How long is the first appointment?”
Plan for about 2–2.5 hours. And before you panic… a good chunk of that time is spent mapping, color selection, and making sure you are comfortable and properly numb before we even begin tattooing.

💋 “Does it hurt?”
Our goal is to keep you as comfortable as possible! After mapping, we numb your lips before tattooing begins, and we continue applying numbing throughout the appointment as needed. We’re not trying to have you sitting there suffering! 😂💕

Okay… I’m going to get a little vulnerable for a minute, and I promise I won’t make it weird. 😂

In almost 8 years of being a tattoo artist and owning my business, I have been through A LOT. I’ve pretty much seen it all. Covid. Slow seasons. Economy being weird. People collectively deciding they suddenly have better things to spend money on 😂.deciding that apparently groceries are more important than freshly powdered brows. The audacity. 😂

But I can honestly say that I have never seen my business this slow.

I know August is typically a slower month for everyone. Kids are going back to school, schedules are chaotic, summer is ending, and everyone is suddenly realizing they spent the entire summer saying, “We’ll figure it out later.”
Well… apparently later is August. 😂
But this particular summer has been really difficult for me.

Next week, I have only a couple of appointments on my books. And as someone who has spent the last 8 years building this business from the ground up, that’s honestly a hard thing to look at.

I’m not posting this because I want anyone to feel bad for me. That’s not really my style. And I certainly don’t want anyone booking something they don’t need or spending money they shouldn’t spend.
But if you have been putting something off, if you’re overdue for a touch-up, if your brows have started entering their “before” picture era… I would genuinely love to see you.

And right now, I’m willing to offer a little discount on touch ups and certain services. Nothing crazy, because I still have bills to pay and apparently electricity is one of those services that refuses to accept exposure as payment. 😂

Which means it is now time to stop worrying about everybody else and remember that you, in fact, deserve a little something too!
