Part of aging better is reducing toxic exposures wherever we can. This is why I’ve been using completely plastic free methods to make coffee for the past couple years.
An all stainless steel coffee press that only cost around $35 on Amazon has served me well, but I’ve just tired from the process of cleaning out all the wet grounds.
This machine from SimplyGoodCoffee has been on my radar and I finally bought it. Excited to try it out tomorrow so I’ll report back!
Drinking tiny particles of plastic once in a while may not radically affect our health… but if we do that ongoing, it’s not something I want in my life as my goal here is to slow the aging process, not further burden it!
For those of us who also don’t genetically detox well, these toxins can really cause issues.
Do you think you need to edit YOUR coffee making process?
