🛑 YES, YOU CAN START OVER. ✨
2020: “Microbladed brows” — NOT done by me.
We spent several sessions trying our best to neutralize and correct the color. At the time, that was the only option I had, and my client wasn’t interested in traveling to Dallas for laser removal.
I was able to warm the color and improve the shape a bit, but ultimately…we just weren’t getting her dream brows. And my 6 added years of experience since she first came to me, taught me that continuing to ADD color, is not the answer.
Fast forward to 2025, when I finally bit the bullet and purchased a laser — and suddenly, results like THIS became possible! 🙌🏼
With the trust, patience, and commitment of my beautiful client, we completed 3 laser sessions, 8 weeks apart. In between treatments, she simply used makeup or embraced her lighter brows while we worked toward our goal.
Eventually, we reached a point where the old pigment was light enough to safely work over, and she was MORE than ready to have brows again. 🥹
Now, there is still some stubborn yellow/orange pigment remaining from the previous correction work. This is not something my laser will completely remove, and we chose not to pursue additional manual removal with needle and solution. The remaining color should continue to soften and lighten with time.
Then came the fun part… ✨
We went back in with a soft nano combo brow to give her a much more natural, beautiful brow — and she rewarded all that patience with a little lip blush to complete her “I woke up like this” look. 💋
This is exactly why I’m SO excited to now incorporate laser into my PMU plans.
Sometimes we need to slow down, remove, lighten, correct, and start over instead of continuing to add more pigment.
And sometimes…you really CAN start over. 🤍
I’m so thankful for clients who trust the process and are willing to be patient while we work toward the result they’ve always wanted.
Your old brows don’t have to be your forever brows. ✨
