Congrats to Aksh*tha Adhiyaman, MD — another one of our poster winners! 🏆

Watch her present her award-winning research, "Surgeon Level Variation in Implant Cost and Operative Efficiency for Medicare Total Joint Arthroplasty," to our Award Committee Member, Lucas E. Nikkel, MD, who evaluated posters on clinical significance, novelty/originality, and scientific rigor.

Dr. Adhiyaman's abstract and poster presentation brought much-needed attention to a critical blind spot in TJA profitability under Medicare reimbursement: implant cost alone doesn't tell the full story. Her analysis of over 1,100 Medicare TKA and THA cases showed that operative efficiency plays just as important a role in surgeon-level financial performance. Congrats on this well-deserved honor!

Watch him present his award-winning research, "Dynamic Digital Radiography is a Useful Clinical Tool for Assessing Mechanical Complications of Hip and Knee Implants" to our Award Committee Member, Izuchukwu K. Ibe, MD, who evaluated posters on clinical significance, novelty/originality, and scientific rigor.

Dr. McCall's abstract and poster presentation showcased how dynamic digital radiography can uncover motion-dependent symptoms missed by conventional imaging, helping guide diagnosis and revision planning for hip and knee arthroplasty patients. Congrats again on this well-deserved recognition!

That's a wrap on PCHK 2026! 🏔️

What an incredible way to close out this year's conference. From exploring Historic Main Street and getting custom-fitted for cowboy hats, to mountain biking Deer Valley's world-class trails and tearing up 60+ miles of backcountry on UTVs — PCHK 26 delivered unforgettable memories at every turn.

A huge thank you to our Social Chair, Jenny Pelt, JD, for curating such an incredible lineup of activities and making this year's Symposium one to remember.

Dr. Puri’s abstract and poster presentation brought much-needed attention to an overlooked occupational hazard in orthopedic surgery, a truly deserving win. Cheers!
